Parents, carers, teachers, school staff and practitioners working with children or teenagers can use this printable kindness worksheet to support social skills, empathy, emotional wellbeing and self-care. It is especially suited to kids and teens who benefit from clear prompts, visual structure and space to write or draw their ideas.
The activity page is titled “My Daily Kindness Plan” and includes two main planning boxes: “Kind things I can do for others” and “Kind things I can do for myself”. Each box has five numbered spaces, encouraging young people to list simple, realistic actions such as helping someone, saying something kind, taking a break, asking for help, or doing something calming.
A separate “My Kindness Goal” area invites the child or teenager to choose one focus for the week using the prompt “This week, I will try to”, followed by a space to explain why the goal matters to them. There is also an “I will remember” section, which can be used for a personal reminder, coping statement, affirmation, or key message from a session.
The gentle black-and-white design makes it suitable for colouring, drawing and personalising during home conversations, PSHE lessons, nurture groups, counselling sessions, social work visits or mentoring work. The closing reminder, “Even small acts of kindness can make a big difference!”, helps reinforce the idea that kindness does not need to be complicated or dramatic to be meaningful.
