The Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire

child_aged_11-16-thumbnailThe Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire is a recommended assessment tool by the Department of Health in the Framework for the Assessment of Children in Need and their Families. It serves as a screening measure for identifying emotional and behavioral problems in children while also emphasizing their strengths. The questionnaire consists of five scales: pro-social, hyperactivity, emotional problems, conduct (behavioral) problems, and peer problems. It is available in PDF format, with versions to be completed by adult caregivers, teachers of children aged 3 to 16, and young people aged 11 to 16.
